Remote Keyfob Battery Low
I keep getting a warning message saying "remote battery discharged" everytime i press the start button the first time. After two trips to the dealer where at first they said there may just be a contact point problem, they finally changed both keyfob batteries but i still get the same warning. Do they have to do some resetting in the car's computer to get the message out?

It happens on both keyfobs when they are not inserted on the key slot. I learned from other threads that keys with Comfort Access don't charge when inserted to the slot. That's why they changed both batteries.

I'm having the exact same issue with my 08 with Comfort Access. Both batteries changed, still get fob warning.
This is annoying.

That shouldn't happen. Check battery voltage and make sure it's above 3V. I don't get a battery warning, but a key warning often enough to be annoying too. Found a Japanese battery that has 3.24V, the highest by far, and still get key faults. It's ridiculous how many electronic glitches these cars have. I still have almost 3 years left on warranty, but so far I'm not too convinced it's a good idea to keep my car beyond warranty. We'll see as time goes by. Good luck.
