Just ordered my Competition E92M3

As some of you may have read in my last threads, my '09 E92M3 had a major

eletronic problem and BMW AG decided to replace with a new M3.

Just ordered a '11 E92M3 Competition Package with all the options that i had

in my other one. Car is scheduled for first week of march.

The other news:

BMW apparentely solved the problem with my current M3 and they asked me

to use/test my M3 until my new one comes in

Thank you BMW for an outstanding service and costumer service!

I think you have to be one of the luckiest SOB's ever. Not only did they replace you M. But they let you use a M as a courtesy car until the new one arrives. So, new model year for same price, maybe slightly more, and a 3 month (at least) M loaner!!!!!! Good for you!!!! I hope that if I ever have problems with my M, I will be treated as well (Doubtful) Anyway, GOOD FOR YOU!! And drive the old one like a maniac, just dont crash it, lol.

Cool, glad to see that BMW stepped up and took care of you.

So your car is scheduled to be built in the first week of March huh?

When did your sales advisor say you should expect stateside delivery.

The first ship load of cars (after a few engineering changes) always takes a little longer to fill than normal.

i am very glad also! But at the same time I have been a great client for the past 12 years.

The production is scheduled for the 11th week of the year, and my order was done under priority (trade assist).

I should see the car middle april, but i am not in a rush!

Talk about perfect timing!

Congrats, I just ordered my 2011 E90 M3!!! No Comp pkg though, have other plans for it. Still five months for me. April build, June delivery. I dont think they are starting the E90's till April.

It's good to know that BMW takes care of loyal customers. Just curious, did you buy all of the 30 BMWs (or a large number) from the current dealership?

Yes, all of the cars from the same dealer. i guess that makes a difference too in their eyes

. I applaud them, and BMW for doing this, but clearly it is in their best financial interest in your case. Still damn cool by any measure though.
