Rock chip on front bumper

Well yesterday when driving to bimmerfest from Ikea some jack ass kid in a
E trying to prove something decided to drive all the way over near the emergency lane on the highway with lots of rocks/ gravel spitting them onto my car with an end result in a nice chunk out of my paint on the front bumper. Luckily only in one spot. but my grill took a beating also which I will just replace it with the gloss black performance one instead of the flat black. Anyone know where I can take the car to get this fixed the paint is chipped is about the size of a dime. I know that its little but it bothers the hell out of me but I don't want to have to paint the whole front bumper for this.

If you decide to paint the front bumper, BMW of FAIRFAX here in VA has a coupon for repainting a full bumper including all materials etc for $400
See if your local dealer can match it

$400 does sound too good to be true. I wonder if it is just a respray or if they actually sand down the bumper to get rid of all of the rock chips.

At least a week....if you put the anything on a newly painted surface within a week it will bubble from the fumes generated by the curing process.

30 days is the rule of thumb for applying film to frsh paint. Its always good to ask the paint shop to see when they think the paint will be fully cured. Most installers just go with the 30 day rule unless the paint has been baked... then its much sooner.

Can anyone vouch for BMW of Fairfax's paint shop, or services? I'm thinking of getting my front and rear bumper fixed up...
Or let me know of a nice high end shop, preferable a place where joy riding in an M3 is boring...
