'01 B5 S4 with upgraded RS4 turbos, Nuespeed Coilover kit, Stoptech BBK, Borla exhaust, and a long list of other stuff. Drove this car from summer of 2003 and sold it about six months after purchasing the M3. Best first fast car to own as that AWD kept the thing on rails.
I deeply regret not pulling the Stoptech BBK and installing it on the M3, as the kid who bought this car totaled it two weeks later. I miss Nogaro Blue and wish I could get my hands on a Maritime or Riviera Blue GT3 next. '02 e39 M5 - I drove this briefly before taking delivery of the M3. Lives at my parent's house as I would like to hold on to this car until it is a classic. It's completely stock and staying that way as far as I'm concerned.

My previous "second" cars over the past 10 years.
I do miss the more pure sports car nature of the Carrera at times, but man.....the sound of the E9X at full throttle is tough to beat from a near sensory overload standpoint. I'll most likely have another Carrera, but never another new one. My next will most likely be a '96 or '97 993 C2S.

Had a 2008 Accord V6. Mpg on this car is awesome and it looks badass. Wanted a faster and more fun car to drive so I decided to get M3

Interesting to see the evolution of one's taste.
'80s VW Scirocco (used)- hand me down and broke down way too much '91 Acura Integra GS Sedan- (new) for college and sold after 200+K mi and over 10yrs of ownership '01 BMW 330Ci, gray (new)-build to order but sold at 6K mi after I got my wife pregnant and we needed a house. I missed it a lot. '04 BMW Z4 (used)- so much fun but impractical. I didn't learn my lesson about functionality and having kids. Second child came so I got rid of it. '00 BMW 323i sedan (used)- frustrating and slow but got us around. Sorry but never again on the entry level model '01 Toyota 4Runner SR5- (new, my wife's, now mine). Old faithful. 130K mi and not once broken down. My daily driver for now. '11 BMW M3 (new)-This one I'm keeping for a while until the new mid cycle M3, at least, or the new 911 Turbo, depending on where I'm at in life. (Sorry BMW lovers! I'll always have a soft spot for BMW and probably will always have one in some form.)
