Depends on the circumstances. If it was something I'd actually use frequently, an R8 for sure. If it was a track toy I'd get a GT3.

Still, to me the R8 = pure sex.

ZR-1, hand downs best performance for the money, and no loss on re-sale value.

All other cars drop when you drive them off the lot.

Anyhoo thats my thoughts.

90-95 ZR-1s in good condition are still going for 30k-55k. I would say if the ZR1 follows in its predecessors footsteps, it will do quite well.

ZR1 and Z06 are quite different. ZR1 is a much smaller production run.

It'll be interesting...There's a lot of competition at the 100k mark...The typical corvette crowd prob has a lot of people with the income the match...but how many?

Sadly mistaken.. Z06 is nothing like a ZR-1. Much more limited production and a ton more performance upgrades over a Z06.

GT-3's may hold value initially but the long run they will die like the rest. Bottom will fall out.

I agree with the poster who buys cars for what he wants and not what other people think...

So either the ZR-1 for me (although I am not sold on the window in the hood, kinda cheesy)...

or gimme an '89 Escort LX 5 door and the rest in cash!

The 360 Modena looks better than all the cars in the poll.

I could care less who's the fastest. Hey, knock yourself out, speed away. My feelings wouldn't be hurt the slightest.

I would go with a slightly used black or dark grey Lamborghini Gallardo ftw.

Of the list - Porsche GT3. In real life: I'd get a matching Z4 M roadster and swap in the 3.0-liter twin-turbo.

GT3 is the shit but it's only manual trans. F-that.

R8 Tiptronic ftw from the cars listed in the poll.
