he works at marketing and he is using marketing quotes that he can leak out to us to give us info on future M3...
Look him up on the E92 M3 Few months back he was our only source of info.

Aha! So the E93 WILL be in LA! Schweet! That means I get to see E90, E92, and E93 side-by-side in Detroit.

Oh I'm not so sure. If they want to price the car into the statosphere, they will. Check the M6 coupe coming within ~5% of the convertible.

The only thing that is certain is that they will price the car as high as they possibly can while still meeting sales goals.

Not questioning the E93 being there also, not at all. Just thought I'd post a response I got from the show yesterday concerning whether for sure we'll see the M3 in person.

My "guess" was only a guess based on previous rumblings on this topic as well as the cryptic opening post here. I know I for one will be at the LA auto show on the 15th. How about a West Coast (really for all interested, not just WC) M3post.com member meet up on the 15th or 16th? Would be cool IMO to put some names with faces. Perhaps I'll post this idea as its own thread as well...

It was already confirmed that the E93 M3 will be in Geneva (March) together with M-DCT. Now I'm anxious to see if the convertible will already be presented in November and also if M-DCT will already be there.

Yeah, I remember that too. But the question is, who has confirmed that? Wasn't it C&D? We ought to weight their reliability against SCOTT26, who is admittedly by no means perfect either.

It is, of course, also possible that November will just see some pics or other details released (such as whether the top be made of aluminum), rather than a show appearance.
