The VW Golf R is funner than a TL, but still not as fun as an M3...you'll be back...maybe not after 3 months like me...but some day...

Funny how small the world is. About a month ago I was ripping through the 45N to 610W on ramp in my Black Z4M Roadster and I checked my rearview mirror and saw this SUPER clean M3 on my tail. It was awesome. He passed by gave me a thumbs up. License plate said E92 M3. Beautiful car.

I'll definitely be back, if not in an M3, then a 911 or R8, but it will be a second/weekend car and the R will be my daily driver. Once broken in, and chipped, I'll have to take you for a ride in the R. I think it will surprise you.

That was me. Definitely a small world. I. Loved. Your. Car. The E82 M is probably the sexiest car that BMW makes right now, and your car is cherry. Riding in your company was one of the last fun memories I had with the M3.

I also traded my M3 for a TL. Terrible decision. I blame Frank...at the time he seemed happy with his. TL lasted 3 months and I was back in a BMW. Not an M3 but my 335 is doing just fine as a DD.

For sure. Once you go M, it's hard to go back. I have my eyes on the F80 M3...second model year.

Sorry BCA! Worst advice I've given on this forum is to trade in an M3 for a TL! At the time, I was happy with the TL....it's a fine family car. I'd still recommend it if you need a great car that won't blow the budget. But of course, now I'd recommend an E90 M3 if you are looking for a family car.

No hard feelings! I was intrigued by the high feature content and low price, and there were other factors that went into the decision as well. The fact that you sold your TL right around the same time I got mine was the kiss of death for the TL. I soon figured out on my own why you sold yours.

Back on topic, I really hate to hear that Tom sold his M. That car was very tastefully modded and I loved the color. Oh well, onward; I can't wait to hear the details on the F8x M3! Hopefully we'll all own one of those a few years from now.

Dang! Tom sold it with the RAC wheels, Dinan exhaust, and VRS rear diffuser! At least he took off the RD Sport front bumper and replaced the OEM back on (with painted reflectors, too).

My best friend just bought this car today.

The bbk front and rear are for sale / trade for oem and the dinan muffler is for sale / trade for oem muffler.
