My M3 clutch is lighter than 1M ?

Is this normal? Maybe because M3 doesn't have CDV or my clutch is wearing out?? TiA.

I've driven an 08 M3 6MT and the clutch is definitely lighter than the 1M's.

Removing the clutch spring helps a lot, but still much lighter than the 1M clutch.

The 1M does feel firmer when you press in the clutch but also could be the car I drove was almost brand new? My frds driving Honda, Nissan always say that the clutch is heavy compare to their cars, but I never really notice. 2 weeks ago I was out to drive a 911 and that was the first time I felt a clutch is firm or heavy.
