The E39 is Silverstone Blue I believe. The E92 is SSII.

yeah, I get it now, I always wondered why our cars were called SSII. Under low light conditions, the color is silver instead of blue. Under certain lighting, it looks exactly like Silverstone.

All of these pictures are awesome. Thanks to everyone who had a part in getting this run together.

I appreciate all of the complements on my E39 M5. Yes, it is Silverstone I Blue with the black and grey "sport" interior. I bought it about a year ago from a friend and big car enthusiast who special ordered it from Taylor BMW in Evans,GA in 2001.

To the guy driving the AW E90 M3, I know your girlfriend had a great shot of us coming down the mountian through the rain. If you could share those pictures or get them to me some how that would be awesome.

I look forward to coming out to some more meets in the future.
