We are currently waiting for a VRS typeII diffuser. That will be installed on our E90 M3 project car. I will take DYI photos as soon as it comes in.

On the type II diffuser we recommend just leaving the carbon fiber with no paint. The 1x1 CF will look great on the SSII.

I will double check but I believe the poly diffuser was put on hold. We can paint the type II diffuser body color if you would like that option.

Yeah, I am interested in one for an e90. I have the front poly lip on order w/ you and feel like I am wasting $ if I buy a rear one in carbon just to have it painted.

i asked the same question, and it was told that it will be installed using adhesive and OEM mounting points.

The VRS type II diffuser is installed using 3M double side tape and OEM bolts under the bumper. If youre still worried about it being stolen you can always have your installation shop add some epoxy glue.

We just got our first production model here at our warehouse, and it looks really amazing! This new rear diffuser is miles ahead of anything else currently on the market, it's got a few new features that are really impressive. It uses OEM mounting bolts for an easy install, and comes with a special groove for 3M mounting tape built right into the inside of the diffuser for a more flush install. Installed photos coming soon.
The 3M groove is a new feature from Vorsteiner, and should make people very happy. You'll know just where to lay the 3M tape for perfect adhesion, and the thickness of the tape will be buried inside this groove, so that the rear diffuser is perfectly positioned against the rear bumper! (sorry for the bad photo, new photos coming soon)
