^^^ well there are basically 3 scenarios that will play out

1. retest of the Hs
2. continued sideways or box
3. break below the box and were off to 1000 and thats FOR SURE

which one will you bet on?

actually from a R/R standpoint, betting on the retest of the Hs are a better bet because your risk is defined @ 1100....if you bank on the shorts, your effectively risking to the top of the TR which is 100 or so pts, vs risking 30 or so right now to make 3 times that

To me gold market is preparing now the field for the next months, it needs a speculative margin streetch for 2012. I see it going to 2300 in the future and all people singing

Now won't you bubble bubble
Let me see you shake it, shake it
Now won't you drop it, drop it
Ohh, take it, take it

Gold will be a buy again when Bernanke cries uncle and gives the street QE3...simple as that...in mean time, deflationary forces at work as margin calls will cause people to sell everything not nailed to floor and esp. winners where they still have profits.

BTW, agree with you gold should see 2500.00 but not this yr...we need a flood of funny money Fed inspired money supply to get the CRB and gold moving again.

when your mailman and hairdresser both tell you to get long Gold and Silver in your portfolio (as they both told me 3 weeks ago), you know its time to GTFO and get fucking short as fuck and keep pressing it....thank god my puts came in today...no bids last week and soared over 1000% today..

SLV has fallen over 20% this week. It's $32 now if I'm not mistaken. If you expect it to go up get some sell to open puts. They'll give you a lot of money right now since they've risen with SLV's fall.

Well this at least explains gold, silver and copper going down. Not like there was much insider trading going on here or anything

If they get bought out or something they'll go up 30% easily in a single day.

the sky is falling... seriously though, weak rebound today, no catalysts, run on french banks, this sucker (S&P500) has room to fall. 1100 ish there is a pivot if it breaks then all kinds of stops are going to be triggered.

Only thing that can push it higher would be a bazooka type solution from the G20 or the ECB.. Im not holding my breath though it is a risk.

Disclosure: Im short SPY and GLD and have been for the last week..

Its easy to say, but dont worry anymore my friend. When i saw what happen whit silver a months ago i said to myself "that crack sounds very bad"

Commodities graphics are designed like stairs, you step on the rungs, they look solid and never ending ... three up, one down, three up, one down ... silver never go down, gold never go down, houses never go down ...

Clue:

Newton under the apple three

only thing that you can do now is learn of your mistake. anyway, commodities is the baddest bitch of all markets.

Very important now in the SP500 1148 face opening and a possible rebound to the 1177 and 1214 then, if it fails could return downs (currently holds).

Very emotional and volatile market, if you're not strong player should not risk being in a long time, I personally would say that the intraday if is not clear the move is necessary to be cautious because the scans and this volatility can lose the same even finish hitting. To those who have some experience maybe they should think seriously to stay liquid, even at risk of losing a major rebound, opportunities do not go missing.
