New Pics, Old M3

6 years old, thats about mid 40s in human years. As the squeaks increase, the steering wheel getting a bit more worn each summer, it builds character.

Enjoy the potato camera pics

Like single malt scotch... Only gets better with age. Just park it inside and protect it from the elements. Looks great!

Interesting lip combination. Time for a M Performance wheel to make it look new again!

Thanks everyone,
The lip/splitter combo is great if you hate scraping

Alex, I am passively looking for a ESS kit.
Some other things on the list id like to do: Suspension overhaul & brakes, spacers and meatier 255/275 tires.

Why ruin something perfect to begin with? If anything SC kits increase the probability of things going wrong.

My suggestion would be to take the stock motor to the track as often as possible and hear it sing and make it dance

Im def interested in getting into tracking, which is why im starting to piece together suspension/wheel build...but nothing hardcore.

Id like a bit more power, spice things up a bit and see my cars true potential

That's like having a set of the perfect running shoes and not using them to the full potential.

My suggestion is to your track your car bone-stock and see how far you can reach both you and your car's limits before supercharging.

I remember your cars being one of the first. Also I think you were one of the first guys with aftermarket wheels too.

If there's one thing I can definitely suggest, it would be to get LCI taillights. It might not look like a lot, but IMHO, it totally refreshes the car. I always wonder why the hell I waited so long to upgrade.

you are right! I had the first DCT on the east coast and got those VMR Satin bronze wheels.

Im on the fence for LCI tails, for now at least. I feel that I am over the phase of cosmetic mods and im spending my coin on more performance oriented modification and maintenance. Just picked up KW V3 suspension, diff brace, Dinan toe links and some spacers and new tires. Once I rebuild my car I will look back onto how I can improve the aesthetics.

I got home too late last night to take pics, but ill upload a pic this evening of my splitter/lip setup.
