Very nice Sal!!
Sounds great, I'm sure Ti will sound even better? Did you take Akras design and perfect it? Power gains were impressive, is that with a tune as well? What are those tubes on the muffler sections? What re the prices for SS and Ti? |

Tail pipes do make a difference in noise but not really alot. With inwardly rolled pipes you lose a bit of the edge from the exhaust note. We retune our Helmoltz Chambers to actually give more noise rather than change the amount of packing inside the exhaust. The sport and race version will have differently tuned chambers (in the case of race, no chambers!) The system is not a copy or improvement over the Akrapovic. The H pipe location is done by calculation and if you want to achieve minimal drone then this is the only place in the exhaust it can be placed. Prices: £2700 + VAT (VAT not applicable to non EU export) £150 extra for the titanium tail pipes Will put images up of the first car which had the Titanium tips. |

I think we all get the point! Before you accuse anyone of being a copy cat maybe try to understand pulse width theory and why a helmoltz chamber has been introduced. You'll then understand why a H-Pipe has been used. Members who we speak with over PM's already know what we are doing with the Helmoltz chamber and where we are going with the whole concept. Also, our rear exhaust has a twin entry and not a single and we are still incorporating a Helmoltz chamber. Think about that. Copy cat systems tend to be just that.... copies. This is vastly different to anything on the market as a complete system with a very strict set of requirements. Copy cats do not understand why they do something and tend to copy one design completely. Our exhaust sounds completely different to anything else on the market...... if it were a copy then it would have sounded similar to something out there and the fact they we've used certain strategies to cancel out drone and create a unique type of noise simply goes to show we just didn't go out to copy but to actually engineer something that was to our requirements. H-Pipes, X-Pipes and Helmoltz chambers are nothing new in exhaust development. These have been around for years! These ideas do not belong to the companies who you accuse us of copying. Have you ever accused any other company of copying another? Because you should have done by now because some systems look suspiciously similar to others as a complete design....
