I've been working with Mike to code my alarm (picked it up last week) and my ("will be acquired in the future") LCI tail light conversion. My friend and I installed it on Thursday, and by that time I had already rec'd the cable, etc from Mike. We scheduled a remote coding session for this morning @ high noon, my time.

He was thorough, efficient, pleasant and most importantly, knowledgeable. I made the mistake of not mentioning that I had some features previously coded, and when he found that out, he not only re-coded them, he also enabled add'l features free of charge, as he was in the modules!

Mike has earned a repeat customer, as I'll be working on a CIC-retrofit in the future. Cheers, Mike, and thank you

Thank you for the kind words, it was nice working with you too. Always an added benefit when another IT guy is on the other end

Enjoy the new features and let me know when you are ready to retrofit the CIC and we'll get it working perfect

For those that have emailed or PMed me, I am replying to them going back to the 21st and hope to be through them all by 3/28/12. Sorry for the delay, I'm finding there isn't enough time in the day.

Another new feature to add: European M-Dynamic mode which is not enabled here in the US. We get a dummed down version that does not allow much slip, while with the Euro settings it will allow you to drift!

Also looking into the EDC changes as well

I will be testing the euro comp pack and edc settings on my M3 tomorrow..

Edit: by 'drift' I do not mean a full on drift with wheels smoking etc... I mean being able to slide through corners at much more of an angle to the point where it's slightly scary.

Sorry for the late clarification.

That is really cool. I would be interested in the mdm programming. Also - doesn't the new comp package have dynamic shock control on "sport" vs. the previous where it is just static? Any way to re-code the car to have dynamic "sport" suspension in addition to the dynamic "normal" mode?

I haven't had time to do research on this yet, but I think there may have been a hardware change on the car coupled with the changes in programming.

I am also working on changing the steering sensitivity which would be really cool to make it tighter at times, even in the sport steering mode.

Anyone who is local to Socal - please contact me if you are interested in a performance software tune. I have been doing quite a few 2012 M3's with very positive results, and there is an introductory special on the tune right now. All features/changes offered tuned to spec.

Also retrofitted front PDC to the car, I always missed it since the M5 got totaled. Thanks to a couple forum members here for help with the install. The coding was definitely the easiest part

There's an wiring error in the BMW instructions which causes a LOT of confusion on the front PDC retrofits.

Glad it's all worked out!

Awesome - so will this work on cars without the standard M-button? I know you were working on that, I'm first in line if so!

Yes, I can preserve the tune while enabling the other features.

Unlike the dealership, I can flash and change individual modules without having any effect on the other ones.

I can't discuss pricing here, please PM/Email or call for that.

BMWsully: Once someone brings me a car here in SoCal that does not have these features, I will figure it out and it will work on cars without it.

Everyone else: Please excuse the delayed reply on PM's and emails. I have been getting a lot of inquiries about CIC and Combox retrofits and I can code for this no problem to enable 100% full factory functionality.

I will be responding to the long backlog of PMs and Emails over the weekend, thank you for your patience!

Not sure if you can help - In Germany US spec MY09+ BMW's can't get traffic info on Nav. We can't see the stau's/traffic congestion. My 08 335i was able to (traded it in), but I was told there was a BMW software update that intentionally took this ability away. A friend of mine with a 2007 335i got a BMW software update that took this feature away. Can you code it back in?

Since you've been here & know traffic & how many US Spec BMW's there are, you know there'd be a big market for it.

Should be able to fix this for you no problem.

I knocked my Traffic Info out at one point when I was coding for Internet/BMW Live. After further inspection, I made it so the car was looking for traffic in Germany. Well, I wasn't in Germany so no traffic info!

So I just need to switch my previous settings and yours and you will have traffic info there. I might even be able to let you have both - meaning traffic will function there, and if car ever comes to US it will work here too. I'm pretty sure I can do that

By the way everyone, tested Euro MDM mode on my friends E92 M3 DCT yesterday, and it was AMAZING. Huge difference over the dummed down MDM that we have here. It would actually let me 'drift' through corners without overly-limiting the car. It was quite a thrill. I highly recommend it.

Edit: when I say 'drift' I don't mean it in the conventional sense of wheels spinning, completely sideways etc...
