Yup, should be fun. There's always basketball season...

So, are you on the hunt for an M3? We need pictures of the Elise!

Holy shit in california with $300k you get to pick your neighborhood - watts, south central, compton.

This is ridiculous. Lol.

What I paid for my '13 ///M3 E92, is the price I paid for my condo that I bought back in 2008. This was when the house market took a nose dive. The previous owner paid $250K back in 2005.

As mentioned, home value differs across nation. For those non Cali residents are fortunate to buy their home at a bargain for what you're getting. What I paid for my condo, probably 3 times less in other states!

$300k here gets you a 70's raised ranch with 1500 square feet.

No way. I don't like the gtr styling at all. It's not as aesthetically pleasing to my eye as the m3 is.

Nice house man! Hopefully you don't live anywhere near Detroit. That place is a s-hole

Good luck with your search. Got to sit in an Elise at a track day a couple months ago, and I actually fit! An Elise or Exige is definitely on my list as a "fun car" one day.

some n00b advice - Your pictures are massive. Scale 'em back... I made the same mistake early on.

Ha! One of the benefits of living in the Midwest.

Our house in the Tulsa 'burbs was $72 / sq ft when we bought it in 2007.

like others have said depends on the area. i had a house that i bought in 95 that was dirt cheap but still decent and 2000 sq feet. still in the house in 2008 i had an e90, x5, r1, bigdog and yz250 which totaled more than my purchase price of the house. now ive downgraded cars only having the x5 and e46 m3 and upgraded houses. got married. how do they do that!

100k M3, 15k X5 4.4i, 900k house.

What about those with Veyron's lol? I'd bet that 50%+ of the owners in the states have a cheaper house than the price of that thing.

San Francisco is crazy. $300k won't even get you into a house in the ghetto! No numbers here but I would say in my area 10% or less otherwise you're a riff raff lol.

$95K(Canadian) M3, (not including mods) and a $180K house......I bought the house at the perfect time. Plus I live in a city where houses are so undervalued (relative to large urban centers), as mine is a designated heritage house, 2,500 sq ft, 3 lots and a two car garage. Yeah, I stole it.

The parking spot at 66 E. 11th St., will be 12 feet wide by 23 feet long, and is attached to a $120 million luxury condominium. The spot will have its own deed and sales contract, and will be subject to maintenance fees. It is part of an eight-story prewar loft building that was purchased by property developer Morad Farred last year."
