Anyone want to swap their Akrapovic GT4 Midpie for my Akrapovic HFC Midpipe?

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
as the title states sending a feeler out for anyone interested in swapping?

I am not interested in anything other than a Akra GT4 so please don't send me PMs unless you have a GT4 and want to switch to Akra HFC!

I'm in for the same trade. But I think I found a cheap solution. I visited a local muffler shop and asked them to recreate the mid pide of the xpipe section. As u know its a 3 piece system not counting the tips. They suggested cutting off the hfc and installing a straight pipe instead. Thoughts?

I wouldn't cut such a nicely crafted x-pipe ... just get them to make you a x pipe from the header back to your akra muffler, i think you'd gain the most power that way.

How are you going to cut a full titanium exhaust?

I meant why would you want to do that!? You might as well buy the Challenge xpipe.

And frame the existing xpipe and hang it on the wall ?
Maybe in a man shed. Gt4 akra xpipe costs 4000 and has no cats just a straight pipe. The differences are cats and resonators. I think you will get a better Sound with cats removed and resonators left in place. Thoughts?
