+1 for Huntington. I live there and was trying to get some meets set up when I had my P-car, but never any takers. There plenty of spots to meet up. I've always wanted to get a group of exotics together for some kind of meet / show in the village. There are a ton of nice cars in the town, but no one who seems really into them.

+2 for Huntington. I also have said their are a lack of M Meets on the Island and am interested in an M gathering. I am from Mattituck so Manhasset would be a haul for me. Just let me know though.

Anywhere near the Nassau/Suffolk border works for me so +3 for Huntington.

I'm looking forward to this as well, glad to see so many people already interested. I don't run into nearly enough e9x M3s around the island.

I'm sure I'll get reemed for this....but iI think it's important to agree RingMeister's point of "no egos" when this takes life. Unfortunately too many of these meets, etc., are ruined by people who don't know how to conduct themselves and ultimately push away the true enthusiasts. It would be great if this could be kept adult-minded and mature so people will continue to participate if it becomes an ongoing thing in the spring.

I'd be more than happy to help if I can. Since I live in the Huntington area, I could certainly suggest some roads for any type of cruise leading up to the meet.

I'm almost tempted to just drive this Sunday. I don't live on the island. Have they been salting the roads?

roads are covered with salt. my ride is in the garage under a cover until we get a down pour to wash the salt away or spring...which ever comes first

The roads don't get salted anymore, the counties now use sand.
We all want this awesome meet to happen at an ideal time, please be patient for this March meet!

Plus I want to bring my '13 Frozen Gray M3 (in production) !!

Kudos to you and your Frozen. I couldn't do it with its hard to clean procedures and if I had the money, just splurge on a Lime Rock edition.

Are you sure about the sand and not salt? It would make sense but I've also said this about a decade ago when they were still using salt. :P

-----

Also remembered there are a lot of commercial companies who plot for local towns and I know for sure they use a salt/sand mixture. Guess I'm using the Highlander for now. :P

Not true, many areas on Long Island use salt, especially the south shore.

(Merrick Road Areas, Meadowbrook to Long Beach pkwy are still salted..)

Yes I'm so excited about the frozen gray. I was really undecided whether I should/shouldn't take the chance, but I'm really glad that I did. About the maintenance of the paint, ill have to wait and see. Coming to the meet?

Again, its a bit far out to say for sure. If weather permits, I most likely will.

I have just received my E92 M3 Coupe, along with two other friends that have also gotten the car. We will all gladly come to the meets being that two of us live in Nassau and the other in Huntington. Looking forward to the meet! I get back from school the first week in May so I hope the meets continue!

It's an awesome color, probably my favorite. My last e92 m3 was sparkling graphite and I thought about taking the clearcoat off many times, just couldn't do it without having a permanent garage. So far I've only seen a frozen black buzzing around huntington, can't wait to see it in person!
