Thinning of inner door panel; need advice

I'm working to modify my M3 sedan so that it's even more fun to drive. Already installed a clutch extender pedal and will be installing a Dinan exhaust.

I have very broad shoulders, and my left arm is pressed into the driver's door panel. I can purchase a new liner for only about $1K. Any thoughts about what kind of professional would take a crack at trimming some of that excess plastic and leather off that panel?

It's not plastic but more of a pressed papery-wood substance. You can't shave it any meaningful amount, you'd have to completely rebuild them and then you'd only gain a couple of inches at best.
