m3

Hey guys, Im driving from Miami to Orlando later this week in my 2010 E93 M3 and I was wondering if you would recommend getting a bra to protect the front from chips, bugs etc....
Also, where would I be able to find a bra for my car?

Try bavarian autosport and look for Colgan bra. Hopefully you can get it soon.

Cheers.

Try getting a clear bra installed before your trip.. For me it's worth the investment.

I got a full clear bra installed (full bumper, hood, fenders) from Sticker City here in L.A. They did a great job and they sell the full kit online, though I got to imagine that there's a good clear bra installer somehwere in S. Fla.

If you get the clear bra, go for the full, you don;t want to see any lines.

Victoria Secret has a lot of really great............ oh wait, thats another story. I got a clear bra on mine and also had one on my Cayman S. It is WELL WORTH the expense and does a great job protecting car with no cosmetic penalty. Very easy to maintain but repairs can be tricky.

hahaha...I was waiting for the "bra" jokes to come out, I wasn't disappointing.
I am only planning on using the bra for this one trip only, so I was wondering if there is a bra that I could manually put on and take off whenever I want?

I have a BMW Accessory Catalog and there is a nose mask (bra) for the 3 series. Here are the part numbers:

Cars to MY '08 sedan and wagon: 82110399151 $98.50
Cars to MY '08 coupe and convert: 82110421569 $125
Cars from MY '09 sedan and wagon 82112152635 $120

I don't see a part # for the MY '09 coupe.

Head to Lowe's or The Home Depot and buy the 2" wide blur painters tape. Start however high up on the hood and fenders you want to go and then add layers going towards the front making sure to overlap the previous layer. Is it a bit boy racer? Yup. Will it do what you want and be easily removable? Absolutely.

There is a company that makes a temporary clear bra as well. You put in on and when you want to remove it you spray the remover and then just wash the car.

+1, I never got my car clear bra'ed and i thought doing it with 5 years of sunlight and washes on the paint, it would look stupid. I always installed the blue painters tape on my bumper and about a quarter up the hood and removed it when id get off the highway in orlando. Cheap and easy to remove and apply..

I have an even better idea. Keep your car in the garage and rent a car to drive to Orlando. That way, your car will never get chipped by rocks,

Why would you buy a driver's car and then never drive it?
