Tint! Especially with white, tint makes the car look more interesting - a bit more sleek if you will.

Sure enough though, as someone said BMW CCA does not allow tint on the rear windows - just checked the rule book.

Cheers

I don't see many Ferraris to begin with.

I do think that having tint helps with the wear in the interior especially on a hot day and getting in/sitting on hot leather. Tint also helps in security by having the interior not as visible and keeping glass in tact if it ever should crack.

I am very active with the CCA and have never had an issue passing inspection with my 5% tint. Actually, I've never seen the CCA give anybody problems about tint. It's not like track days are typically at night.

Nimo nice car! Question: what color is your car? Is your tint ceramic? Any issues with antenna reception or alarm reception?

Tint is OK for drivers schools, not for club racing. Tint it!

Thank you. It's sparkling graphite. No issues except my local tint shop
Stop carrying this line. It's not ceramic.

My wife's f30 has the formula one pinnacle line 35 tint. Not as fine as the the onyx but still nice.

Another question: how did you deal with the dot matrix on the top of the back window? My last BMW looked bad due to it.

The tint shop was able to fill in the dot matrix on my E90 as much as possible. It came out quite nice. My wife's f30 has a wider strip of dot matrix on the rear window and the 2nd tint shop was not able to fill the bottom of the rear window dot matrix. Due to the steep angle between the glass and rear deck, there is a small gap on the bottom of the reAr window that is not tinted.

I heard some tint shop will sand down the dot matrix or place a small strip of black vinyl over the dots then tint over it.
