Correct me if I'm wrong...at the Classic BMW dyno day event, the CLK63 Black-series dynoed 397 rwhp while the C63 right before it on the dyno got 398 rwhp?!? Were they both stock?

Did they really have a problem with us being there? We've told them before that if it's an issue we'd move.

You're correct about the dyno numbers. The CLK63 Black was stock and the C63 I think has some add-ons to it.

Was your car the red E92?

7-months later & I still love that color especially when the sun is out.

LOL, they didn't say anything but everytime I looked in there they gave a dirty look but it's probably just my imagination. She didn't mention anything to me when I walked in to say hi though.

What mods does the C63 have?

I know it has a tune for sure, but other than that I'm not sure, Mike's told me before, but I can't recall. I know his car sounds great. You'll have to come back out that car of yours looks great. I won't be there this weekend though.

renntech stage 2 tuning. it read the same as the clk black because merc intentionally detunes their engines on the lower (less expensive) models. with a tune in a c63, you unlock all the power that merc programs out of it, no joke. now, a properly tuned clk63 black series (check out this one) will be a 500whp machine NA with no nitrous. i've been trolling mbworld recently

I'm going to try to make it this weekend b/c I hear "someone's" M3 should be Vorsteiner-pimped out by then & I wanna see it!

LOL, yeah that's what I hear (regarding detuned engine in C63). I seriously would've considered the C63 but 3 things kept me from doing so:

1) Tranny is slow aka it ain't DCT fast/responsive
2) I wanted a coupe since this is my weekend toy &
3) I really don't trust Merc. reliability after seeing what my sis had to go through w/her SLK350

i'm thinking about it. i need to finish up buying this house first. i'm also probably going to get my motor vehicle dealer license so i can flip all these cars myself and not have to pay the tax on it. i got such a terrible deal on my m3 because i couldn't wait, which has led me to paying entirely too much for it compared to deals out there now. i

the ///M but not at the price that i'm paying for it.

yes, that evosport clk63 BS is awesome, but one of the only things i don't like about it is the roll cage. granted, it's mostly for show, i think it's a bit excessive considering that car is mainly driven on the street.

True. At the beginning of the thread, I thought the car was going to be made for track purposes. In the end, it was just a show car.

Ok so question for all you other E9X M3 owners, do any of you experience your brakes squealing when coming to a stop? I took my car in last Thursday for first service and they examined it and said that some noise was normal, but mine is really loud inside the car so I can only imagine how loud it is outside the car.
