This has been done before but never on a e90 m3 body style. Only ones have been successfully completed is the 335i sedan by hartage a e93 convertible and a few e92 m3. The e90 m3 is 2 inches shorter than the other models so this was a tighter fit!

It is a sound progression to go to a S85 after the original S65 gave up in that car. Looking forward to the end result.
As a side note, I wonder how many first hand owner who leased the car for a couple of years- abused it past redline on a regular basis thinking they got their money's worth when the lease ends and they have to return the car. Then some unlucky 2nd owner gets a seized engine down the road. Yeah I know it happened to lower miles engines too but ...

This V10 rebuild project looks like a bear . Would have preferred to see Gintanni coming to fruition with their twin turbo S65 project and you drop a used S65 in and do that instead
