Watkins Glen Track Days

A few of us will be going to Watkins Glen for 4 track days this year.Myself and a few others from here will be instructing for these days.

The dates are

May 30 th & 31st

August 1st & 2nd

This is being organized by Phoenix CMR Inc who are really good guys who I helped last year at the SVT days at Mosport last year.

I may be in for the end of May dates. Let me check the schedule, I might be out of town again. How far is the track from us?

About 4 hours from the east end of TO.Lots of great places to stay down there as well.

Lots of Winery's down there so I am thinking about selling the wife on the idea of checking them out when I am at the track

I already used my one freebie pass for VIR. This could cost me, lol.

I'm very interested, but likely to be out of town on these dates. I hope there will be spots available when I have more clarity around my schedule.

How many run groups are there? I am wondering if bringing along a friend with 2 days of track driving experience would be a good idea.

Budd's just put out their "track days" feeler yesterday so I just need to get a few more details before I decide.

Out for May 30 &31. Dealer trip. Nurburgring to start. Germany, Austria, Swizerland, France ending at Monaco F1 race.

I would also miss Watkins Glen for that trip!
