BMW E92 - Any Experience?

Hi guys

Been looking at changing to one of these in the near future and was after some info/advice from anyone with any experience.

I'd be looking at a 320d due to insurance and economy, preferably in M-Sport guise.

Do Xenons come as standard? They seem to as from all pictures and models I've seen in the 'metal' they have been fitted.

Any general ownership experience including issues, economy etc would be appreciated..

In answer to your question in the context of E9X M3s... yes Xenons are standard, you might want to prepare yourself for the onslaught of 'use the search button'!

Specific E9X M3 reviews are a plenty here on this board but what car are you exactly after? 320D or a M3?

Anyway, yeah, you want E90 post -> http://www.e90post.com/forums/. When asking the question, you'll also need to specify where you are because standard equipment varies by region. Or, just go to your regional BMW website and look at the standard equipment list for the model you are interested in.

If you are looking for general information, why not just cruise around on this board and read some threads or use the "search" features? There is TONS of experience here, you just have to dig a bit for it.

Unless the OP's location info doesn't match his (her?) actual location, I smell a troll. The only diesel 3 Series in the US is the 335d Sedan, though that might change with the F30. Might be more diesels, might be none at all in favor of an ActiveHybrid. But yes, please do some searching OP. Xenons are standard on E92, but there are no diesel E92s in the US. For the E90 where you CAN get a diesel, the only model that doesn't have them standard is the 328i, so the 335d would have them.

I haven't seen any diesel options in the US outside of the 335d, but for standard 3 Series models the Xenon lights are an option on 328 models, but are standard on the 335 models...
