Just ordered! Can't sleep...

Hey everyone! Happy to say I'll be joining the "M Club" in the Spring - just ordered a 2012 e92 M3 in Mineral White from Pentagon Car Sales in Germany! I'm doing stateside delivery since I'm deployed and can't take leave in route. The entire process thus far has been incredibly smooth thanks to Andre (from Pentagon)...well, with the exception of losing sleep because I constantly fantasize about pushing the start button on that beast . Anyway, I currently have a 2007 335i that I'm selling, so if you're interested in that, please let me know. Here's the link to it --> http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=585114 || Ok, on to the M3!

Here are the specs:
  • ZPP
  • ZCW
  • DCT
  • BMW Apps
  • 220M wheels
  • Black Novillo w/ Carbon Leather Trim

Planned Mods:
  • KW V3
  • Black or CF grilles
  • Tint (25%-ish)
  • MS Spacers
  • ESS Tune
  • My own special touch??

If anyone has any questions about military sales, ask away and I'll do my best to answer them for you. Or if you have any suggestions/ideas on mods, please let me know so I can steal them from you.

March/April can't come soon enough..

-Travis

Side-note: I may be willing to sell the 220M's (with tires) right away if someone's interested and I can get a good deal on some DPE's, HRE's or Advan's. I will make the post in the appropriate thread when the time comes though. Cheers!

Congrats to you as well then! I may actually be PCS'ing up by Sac Town in the summer and finishing up my AF contract there. If I do, we should meet up and do some HWY1 cruising.

The MORR's are amazing! They ride extremely well, are lightweight and are strong as shit. I've actually hit some pretty huge potholes where I live, in which case I was like, "Yep, cracked wheel. Here we go." Then when I pulled over to inspect...nothing. No bends, chips, cracks. I was seriously impressed. They are also very stable at high speeds and get you compliments everywhere you go.

Anyway, I would put that set I have on the M3, but I'm planning on going with 20's. I just saw MORR's new MS8 3-piece forged series and am in love. They are a good chunk of change, but so worth it. Like I said, the quality of their products is unrivaled. Plus, their customer service is first class.

Travis,

Congrats brotha!! Loved your "old" car, and I'm sure the new one will be even better.

Can't wait to see what you have planned for it!

Haha! Yeah, man. It's so hard to just lie in bed and not think about rollin' around in THE sexiest car ever produced. I still have like 4 months too! Let me know when it finally arrives and how it feels to grip the steering wheel for the first time..

Is it here yet? I was gonna hold my breath then thought better of it. I can't wait too!

Looks like no updates for a while. The ship will be out of tracker range for the next 2500 miles or so.

Congrats! The wait for mine nearly killed me too! I had to wait 5 weeks. COULD NOT sleep at night for the majority of those nights...the excitement was just too much. Then when it got here I couldn't sleep because I could not believe I had a red M3 sitting in my garage. I would actually just open the door leading to the garage to just look at it. To be perfectly honest, I still do!

5 weeks? I've been waiting since August! ETA is likely the first week or two of Nov.

Simply stated, I would not survive that long of a wait.

Sorry I couldn't help but notice after reading, but you're in the AF? I am as well and I live in Sacto/Roseville area. I work up at Beale. Is that where you may be stationed/working if you come up here? We should try to meet up if you do, cuz I would love to see your new ride. Let me know. Also, what do you do in AF?

Good to hear.

Mine's being produced in March and will arrive here April or May. I'm not sure how I'll survive that long, lol...
