Orange County Referral - Light body work?

Does anyone have or know of an excellent referral for a repair shop anywhere in Orange County that can do some very light rear bumper repair work on my M?

Wayne @ A1 Auto Body in Huntington Beach is highly recommended - I've been using him for the past 10 years.

I'll second that. Got the recommendation from Tom and used him and his work was A1

Sterling or Spectrum

...either Sterling or Spectrum Collision. Both are sister companies of BMW dealers.

Both work on high end sports cars like Lambo's, etc. I've used both in the past...both are "slow" and take their time but they deliver a perfect product. Most recently used Sterling Collision (sterling bmw' service scratches my hood during a windshield replacement...long story). The shop rep kept me updated on the status of the job via e-mail on a semi-daily basis. I thought their attention to detail was excellent.

...they both charged a small fortune on an insurance claim vs. the "in network" shop quotes, but meh...if my insurance companies adjuster is not going to bother haggling then why should I. I'm sure you can get a competitive quote from either if you come in as a "cash" customer.

It's its true bumper work, most body shops are not intertested in repairing it. They like to replace it.
You'd need to call a bumper repair person to get it fixed. It's like the paintless dent removal; most body shops don't do it and will call in a guy.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I was just rear-ended this morning and will need a body shop in orange county. It looks like the bumper will just need to be replaced and that will be it. Has anyone used Long Beach BMW? I am thinking of using Long Beach or Sterling. I am open to any other suggestions. I have no experience with auto body shops in orange county.

Thank you,
Philip

Tri-Star Autobody @ Huntington Beach and ask for Lawrence. Tell him James from the forums sent you and he will take care of you. The man is more OCD than his customers on their own cars

Which is better if price is no concern? C&C or Sterling? I see both names come up a lot.

I also see A1 a lot on the forums and no offense to Wayne, he is a very nice guy, but if you want ultra-premium work and price is not an issue then A1 is not the shop for you.

I had him paint a front and rear bumper and I have to question anyone who would recommend them for high end body work.
