APEX EC-7 Wheels on Satin Black M3

APEX EC-7 in Anthracite Finish

18x10" ET25 with 275 R888
18x11" ET25 with 295 R888

This was a quick test fitment of prototype wheels so the tires are on the opposite side of the car

That looks down right menacing! Is that on the stock suspension as well?

This car was on V3's. The 275 R888's touch the spring because of the V shape spring that comes with the V3 kits. Those springs waste a lot of inner clearance unlike traditional coilovers. This resulted in having to bolt the wheels on in place so the car did not settle front and rear as much as a car on coilovers traditionally would.

Are the wheels above an example of the Anthracite finish option?

I definitely agree, especially considering that I have V3s on my E46 M3.

Thanks for clarifying. Seriously, these wheels look great!

Interesting. Is there a way to make this wheel size/offset work with KW V3s. Or is it the tire size that's causing the issue?

^ He mentioned in another thread that the car had a 10mm spacer that was stuck on the car. This netted them a -17 offset....prolly had something to do with it.

I'd like to see a picture on the car with the 9.5 / 10.5 option. 265 / 285

I'm almost sold.

looks good but the front vs. rear ride height looks off... Given the way the rear sticks out in the third pic I don't see how it won't rub under compression.

275/35/18 fronts are taller than the 295/30/18 rears. This is not a recommended setup, but it was the tire sizes we had mounted up from a previous test fitment, and we bolted them on here just to see the wheel design.

The rear of this car had a 10mm spacer stuck to it which pushed out the rears to ET15. This again is not an ideal fitment, but it allowed us to see the design on the E9X M3 chassis. At ET25 it fits a lot cleaner.

Shots look awesome! Just talking to George during this shoot displayed what a talent he is. Knowledgeable guy also. Tell Jan Thanks for breakfast!

You can count on the Spacers being removed if there's a next time. #crossingfingers lol

18x9.5" ET22 with 265/35/18 fronts and 18x11" ET25 with 295/30/18 would work well with a super charged car. That would work well with AD08's

Brushed silver won't be an option for this design

Your car looks great! I heard about the new mods you'll be adding. Those should make it even better. HA, no spacers should help with the rear. We'll try street tires next time for a cleaner fit.

18x9.5" ET22 can be run square with 275's easily. No spacers are needed. It's already the correct low offset front and rear
