Big difference between replica?
Was wondering how big the differences are between replica amuse trunks and the real deal. I was hoping to find a used one. Anyone have an idea the price between replicas and the real deal?

All depends on which rep you are looking at. Fitment will vary from different makes. What lips did you have in mind?

Reps NEVER fit as well. Always stick with the original stuff whenever possible.

From what I've read the rep trunks usually take work to get them to fit properly. There were quite a few discussion around rep fitment in this area.

Replica lips fit just fine from past experience. I've only ever bought two lips though. Trunks usually fit ok...friend of mine bought one from **********s and it fits very well!

Depends from manufacturer to manufacturer, but I'd say 9.5/10 from just looking at it.

Check out my recent thread "M3 trunk" for E92 it was 750ish I think. Looks great, exterior fitment is great too. Motorwerks in Houston did the install but did say internal items for wires and lights was difficult. I think it came form modbargins.

i've got a rep and fitment isn't perfect, but I never notice it. There's just a couple places where it pinches tighter (but doesn't hit). You could always spend hours tweaking the mounting to get it close(r)
I don't think the extra money for the real deal is worth it personally
