Easily done in 15 miles of hard cornering on a coarse surface-
How have you driven it for the last 850 miles? If you've just been driving around town or on the highway, that's definitely atypical. |

Agreed. You may have run over a rough object in the road. I wouldn't worry about those missing pieces, they won't have an effect on safety or handling.

you must have hit something sharp or hard...
couple lap on a track day or crazy cornering will do just that... either or you should be ok... just as long as it doesnt have a crack....

I would suggest watching the damage over the next few weeks to make sure the problem areas don't grow. Of course, when in doubt you can always head to the dealer and have them take a look.
