ESS VT2 625 vs Modified Porsche Turbo 997.1

Just finished putting this together...races against my buddy's 997.1. First race was at Ft. Shafter when he had a turbo and intercooler upgrade from a GT2, 2.5" headers, exhaust and GIAC tune.

Then he showed up a month later at the Shift S3ctor Coalinga event with 3" headers and methanol injection.

Enjoy.

The P-car was starting to pull @ the end of that run, so tough to call it a tie @ that point. BUT, heck of a run!

Very nice Adam !
I ran a 997.2 turbo S PDK with a tune and exhaust last week @ Battle of the Beasts and I was impressed by how hard they pull.

What's up guys. I put this vid together for my friend who wanted to see the difference from his exhaust/meth upgrades...and yes his car is now faster top end for sure as he's now got a better HP/WEIGHT/AERO factor in the triple digits.

I wanted to show the people here what an e92 M3 can do in a straight line against a P-car that still (at 6 years old) costs a bit more more than a new e92 M3, and the cost of engine modifications exceeds the cost of the engine mods on the M3....so the M3 has a nice value factor if you are considering one vs the other. Performance from a dig and in the rain will favor the P-car for sure.
