For those with Speed Cloth ...

... any regrets? I am going to be ordering my car in a couple of months and I am strongly considering going with speed cloth. I like the look and I expect it to be much more durable. I wish the bolsters were cloth too because they probably take the brunt of the wear but anyway would you go this route again?

+1.

I would like to know too, and would like to see some better pictures.

I've had a very good experience with my 2003 ZHP cloth/Alcantara interior, so I'm looking forward to the M3 leather/cloth combo...

I love the speed cloth. i wouldn't mind having it in mine as it is warmer n the winter and cooler in the summer. Also don't have to worry about conditioning the leather

I never really liked cloth interiors until I tried the Alcantara/Cloth interior in the E46 ZHP 330i. Would you know if the speed cloth material is comparable in feel?

4,000 miles and 6 months still no regrets. I actually like the leather bolsters. Just be aware of the bolsters and protect them when entering and leaving the car. I would do it all again. Some of my new pics to confirm your decision:

No regrets. 3K miles. It is very hard to photograph. It always look lighter, because of the way it reflects light into the camera. It looks very sporty.

On a side note, where did you get the shift boot? Did you cut & reuse the OEM one?

(Car looks amazing, BTW).

Even thought it is a high maintenance material, I wish they did offer alcantara. I have it on my ZHP seats and it is heaven.

I like the speed cloth but I ordered the car with ZPP so the leather is inclusive.

I don't like it. I wish I didn't get it but I couldn't find what I was looking for in the timeframe I needed the car. Check out this thread, which discussed it in the past.

Yep I reused the OEM boot. Eventually I will send the base out to LeatherZ to get an alcantara one made.

I wanted leather but my dealer actually told me not to get it. He knew I'd be tracking my car and the speed cloth just holds you better. He said most of his customers wished they could get the convenience package (or whatever package the leather comes with) with speed cloth instead of leather.

Speed cloth

Have the speed cloth. It's pleasant and simple while being easy to maintain.
