I'm doing the Euro MDM, but I have a DCT and I think the ED is for manual cars only.

Just had my car done by Mike this past weekend. Actually was able to meet him in person. He is one hell of a nice, smart guy. He is amazingly busy (a good thing) but still took the time to answer my questions and explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. He also helped me figure out some of the settings on the car that were foreign to me.

As for the tune itself, I don't want to say it "transformed" my car. The M3 is obviously a hell of a car to begin with. But Mike's software makes it an M3+. The shifting is better, the steering is better, and the performance is kicked up a notch. The DCT, servo, and ECU tune work very well together.

I should also note that although I don't yet have my Akra on there, so I'm not getting the benefits of the Stage 2 tune quite yet. Things are only going to get better from here!

In my case it's now about 70 % shorter, but you will hear that the engine runs now match smoother,so it's gone now the jerky feeling when you drive with cold motor .
2- Rev. limiter.
That's a choise you can make,in my case was 8,400 enough.
About revs...it was cool that Mike told me that it was good to have reduced redline when the motor is still cold(good thing to have with the rod bearing horror stories)so reduced to 4,500 rpm.
3-DCT software upgrade.
The second gear lag is gone now,and forever, and i need to say that my car is faster now,and that just by the shifting speed,in S 4-5-6 you get now a pusch in your back and the shifting pusches the car foward,in my case this is a huge improvement.
4-Coding
I have the Alpine HID Angeleyes and they caused an error when i started the car(City and daytime light front left broken)
The Angeleye was alway's ok but caused an error, and at my BMW dealer they ware not able to doing the coding,my car was with my dealer two times and nope,i told this to Mike....after 30 Sec. it was history..unbelievable but true, error code gone !
5- Extra's
Topspeed limiter removed ...i live about a 20 min. drive from the Deutche Autobahn .(so i can go for it)
The four emergency blinkers...i have now the double blink and this is very cool to see ..in pace car style !
6-Conclusion.......
My car run strong now, like never before and consumes less now - 1.8 liter/100 km.
The steering assist i need to get one day, when Mike is less busy .
And the person Mike -Benvo is like a friend to me,very kind and intelligent and when you need him,he is there for you.
And to all the people who want to get a tune....BPM is the way to go
Oh yeah...and i still need to write a review about my BPM tune, this is almost one...lol , but when my car was tuned by Mike...something very special was happening ,i think this review will be for next week
ibmike...hope this will help !
+1 for a good dude and great tune.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you... definite overload lately.

Thanks TMR & MPower & Aussie. Nice meeting you Hujan, I'm sure you'll be in Akra heaven tomorrow when it gets installed. Let me know how it is!
