Yes, that is correct.

I don't know what their cel count is or how each differs other than by shape. I haven't had any hands on experience besides looking at them on the car.

Did you look through it?

It's pretty hard to see the middle of the pipe, will try to stick something down it tomorrow to confirm the middle set is in fact a set of secondary cats.

It is a set... Turner Motorsport has already confirmed it plus it is fairly obvious.

Also Hartge deletes the first set of cats and replaces the second set with high flow cats. You also have to lenghten the O2 sensors, that go just before and just after the new sport cats. The result, together with the xpipe and muffler, is really good. The car is significantly faster.

Talking You are right about its all in the driver stuff

What good is a 500hp car if some one thats a better driver walks you with 100hp less..
Everyone here thinks they can drive, but in reality I would say 10% are above average drivers (the guys going and doing trackdays/drag strip). I recommend taking your car to the drag strip. ! Why? Because its super cheap easy on your car (compared to doing a trackday), and you learn the basics, like controlling grip, launching, shifting fast, basically learning to drive your car, it will also give you a good idea on what you can run with your car.. Get some times for your car with you driving and then mod it more power! More power doesnt usally mean a faster car. Example my 350Z running high boost 700 to the wheels is only 2 sec faster at VIR than me running low boost 500hp... 2sec you can miss a shift or go in to deep and loose more time.. On the drag strip 700 and 500 is like driving two diffrent kinds of cars, with only a sec in E.T difference..

My point is you can do alot of damage with your M as it is right now IF you get to know it.. In two weeks a have a meet with the Z06 guys at the drag strip and I promise I will spank 4 out of th 6 that will show.. Its all in the driver!!

Ok that my useless post for today!1111
You are right about the drag strip stuff it is all in the driver it takes practice and this M3 is a hard car to launch without practice.

This is a good idea as well, to get rid of the first set and go to a higher flowing second set along with custom tuning. This option is not cheap, but the ultimate in performance

Easy with the name calling E-thug...

But seriously let me know when you find a chip thats going to give you 40whp, for 900$ at that...

Shoulda gotten a 335i if your looking for easy power. I had an E46 M3 and did full exhaust minus headers, chip, intake, pulleys, and gained about 16whp LOL. I will never try modding a NA car like that again, its a waste of time. Wait for a supercharger or sell it for a 335i

I still don't know why some people here still compares a 335 with an M3. I had one tuned and sold in 4 months, it's just a regular beemer with more power. An M3 is a different story, is a car with character and in a total different level. If you just want power, you got to buy a vette. M3 is culture. I just sold a Porsche to go back to the M world.

You are 100% right but I think he is comparing the ease of modding 335>m3 not the car as a whole.

The mechanical aspect will be done in just a few weeks, but my car is also going through major interior changes so donīt expect it until January.

Yep, the entire interior will change, doors, rear seats, dash, everything. The idea is to match the BMW Peformance seats Alcantara and black Nappa Leather with white stitching all over the car. Somewhat similar to the F430 Scuderia but w/o the CF. Even the gauges to include a speedometer of 360kph that is the capacity of the stroker.

Yea I canīt wait either. We did look at several proposals to make this effort as competitive as possible while still keeping OE quality workmanship all around. I think the final product will look very nice indeed.
