Yes, you can use OEM LCI taillights on an '08 sedan, but you have to swap out your trunk lid. If that's too much to swallow, then you can buy pre-LCI Black Line lights for a slightly different look. They are OEM as well.

Lamin-x will make your tail lights all red for cheap
Best thing to do is a trunk lid + LCI light swap though but it's a little pricier. |

Yea I def dont want to go the rout of swapping the trunk. Not really a fan of the smoked blackline look either. Im surprised no one makes a simple all red/lci style tail for pre 2009 sedans.

Do the conversion!!! I did it and it the best upgrade.. Well worth it, if your lucky you can find a trunk with the tails complete from a salvage yard..I did GL

Not for the faint of heart, but if you're daring enough this product by VHT is really excellent.
I used it on my X5 4.6is and it really made the car look 10 years younger which is amazing considering what a subtle difference it actually is. |
