SEMA is this week? So hopefully we get some good news from Ohlins.

Won't know personally until tomorrow when I get to the Ohlins booth, but I'll be surprised if they have news regarding this kit. When I spoke to Ohlins US last week they said it was on the "to do list", but they have no ETA.

I spoke to Ohlins at SEMA yesterday. As expected, great team with great products.

They do have plans for the E92 M3, but have no thought of how they want to address some of the differences between their Non-M kit that is already available. For those wondering, the shock mounts on the front and rear units are different on the M3's.

Pricing should be comparable and fair compared to most other upper level kits out there such as the KW Clubsport line.

The TTX kit is available already, but it's a bit overkill for majority of people.

I was told I could start to expect these in roughly 8-12 weeks.

The front is fairly easy, a pair of sleeves would adapt the non-M struts for M use.

The rear need to be pin to eye instead of pin to pin. The rear E9x dampers are dimensionally similar to an E36/46 M and naturally most if not all the damper manufactures just go back to their parts bin for it.

Harold, this was exactly their concern as they do not prefer the sleeve idea on the front shock body and would rather design a larger diameter body to accommodate the M3.

I just asked them at SEMA. Definitely not coming within 8-12 weeks from what I can tell.
They said they are working on it but the release date is not known.

We were specifically told 8-12 weeks because we are interested in carrying them.

I hope they are right.

They are going to be very promising units.

They gave me some specs but also asked me not to share too much because they might change.

Gotcha.
Been hoping they would release something for a while now. TTX is just to much for street car.

You are totally right. TTX is far too much for street driven cars and should pretty much be reserved for track and race cars.

Sounds like they gave you the same information as they gave me Harold. That's good stuff.
