My Trip To BMW NA
Today I set out for BMW NA after seeing Monsta's vid from a couple of days ago. While I was there i saw 4 e90 M3's (2 SSII's adn 2 AW's) which looked amazing (although slightly diapoined there were no e92 M3's since i have a jet black one on order). I also was able to see the new 128i convertible and the new mini clubman. But the best part was i got to here one of the SSII e90 M3's started and reved. I have included photos and have go the vid now put up.hope you enjoy!
Heres me with the M3 that was reved Heres a standalone pic of it The rear I was very disapointed to find that the seats were not like the one found in euro models and another and another and another! Alpine White looks amazing in real life! another another another rear shot Just took a pic b/c i never saw a plat before that said dealer manufacturer CF leather trim (very glad I ordered it) This was very weird, i saw rust on 3 of the 4 m3's wheels that were there (all 19") And the 128 (disapointed) and the clubman (even uglier in real life) Got the video up it only gets good at 0:55 that when you can here him rev it. There is no picture because i had to keep the camera in the car. BMW doesn't want anyone takings pics or vids. * one last thing to leave you with, one of the people who worked there who i first thought was security was very nice. I ran into him in the parking lot and asked him if there were any e92 M3's he said there were and hes driven them and there amazing. He said they were locked up in the back though and he could not take me back there. Infact everything there is so top secret that when I asked to go to the bathroom they held my drivers liseance, and when I got there the employee that i had been talking to was also in the bathroom and before he started talking to me about the M3 he looked under the stalls to see if anyone else was there. He also told me in the bathroom that at this this "testing type plant" they usually get cars between a year and a year an a half before they are actually released and that the X6 is there and so is the CS and the e93 M3. I thought that this was pretty cool. Last edited by dillon733; 02-20-2008 at 08:32 AM.. |

Thanks for sharing. Interesting that the M3 has the police get-out-of-ticket free shield in the windshield

Thanks for the pics dillon.
You know the U.S. seats don't look so horrible in that pic. |

Great pictures.
It looks like the same Silverstone E90 I saw driving around this past weekend. I still can't get over how good this car looks in person.

youhave to be good friends with or related to a cop. It serves the same purpose as a pba card. and they will only let you off the hook if your speeding within reason usually

Dillon,
I am new to the BMW Family with an M3 on order (metallic black Sedan) and I had two questions. 1) Where is this BMW NA where you visted? and 2) What is the difference between e90 and e92 M3's and why would they not have all the same ones? Best, Karan |
