Not to harp on this, but who would one send a nasty letter to @ BMW in regards to this. Perhaps if they got a bunch of letters, they would reconsider.

Of course, they may have frozen supplies because of production numbers (ie: they cannot supply the quantities to the US).

I don't know, but I was sure looking forward to them and IMHo BMW owes me the $10 I had to spend to ship the OEM glossies back to Tischner (who were generous enough to take them back).

APO to CONUS would be much cheaper. I'd even be willing to kick in a few extra bucks to make it worth your while... Or we could find a member to ship the lot to and then distribute it, I'd sure be willing.

Is it any cheaper to order these when I am in Europe for vacation especially in France.

Dudes. Has anyone tried bmminiparts.com? They're a private vendor in the UK and they ship to the US. Because they're private, they're not subject to the restrictions that BMW places on its dealers.

I bought European-specific parts for my M3 from them as late as last week. Give them a try before freaking out too much.

Not usually due to taxes.... I will be in France at the end of the summer and am planning on ordering them from a dealer in france as my last resort.

Make sure you go to customs when you leave with your receipt and get the VAT tax refunded to you.

Evan,

I noticed you have taken off the M3 edition grills and side vents in your online store...when will they be available again?

I've already ordered the front grills...but I want to add the side vents as well.

thanks

Yup, we took these down for the time being as we can't submit any new orders to BMW at this time for these parts - they just get cancelled.

As soon as we get word they are available to order again, we'll post them back up!

Thanks for your patience fella's - this is completely beyond our control.

What's the best way to see if these are available? Search by part number? Or would you be able to email me when you're able to submit new orders again

I wish we just had an ETA. If I knew for sure they were coming, I wouldnt mind waiting but not knowing if we'll ever even get them is painful. Purchasing them in Europe and having them shipped is an option but its significantly more expensive.

Evan,

There are 2 differerent grills at your site:
1- 51712155450 and 51712155451 as "front grill, black" and priced 50$ each
2- 51137979350 and 51137979351 as "ZIERGITTER SCHWARZCH" and priced 61$ each.

What is the difference?

I believe #1 is gloss black, while #2 is satin chrome (M3 Edition).
