Took a cruise down Malibu Canyon to PCH

I used to take my GSXR to The Rock Store on Sundays. Today was the first time I got a chance to bring the M3. This photo was taken on a "I'm car sick, please pull over" break for my gf! If any SoCal members are ever interested in meeting up for a canyon ride, let me know. Always down to make some new friends.

To be honest the stripe doesn't look too bad as others have previously stated in your other thread, but I do think it will look much cleaner without! Either way great looking ride.

Dude. I just returned from Malibu Canyon Rd to the PCH and rtn home. Your GF must have the most "sensitive" stomach on Earth: no offense. I was expecting some mad speeds and "twisty's," but never got past 45mph on that two-lane S-L-O-W road with very little curves.

Anyway,
The PCH through Malibu is always good except on the weekends when the Cops are EVERYWHERE.

On the way back I saw a sign that read, "Oxnard 21 miles, and T.O. 14 miles" at a right turn that went straight up the mountain. Do you know if that road is a "fun" one?

Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't realize you were doing that route purely on my suggestions. There are actually a ton of other roads back there that we took prior to getting to that point.

Here's more or less the route we took: https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=C...2,3,5&t=m&z=12 (we might not have been on those exact roads the entire time, because at one point I do recall being on some very tight twisty roads which were the ones that got her sick)

Latigo is a ton of fun. I used to ride the Rockstore for pancakes and then Mulholland for days at a time. Miss that place; parts of Latigo are sketchy; off camber opposite turns, almost went over the ledge riding a bike at one point.

100% some of the best riding roads in the USA

There are some great roads in that area. I went there a did a short 17 mile stretch, but would love to do a longer run. The views are spectacular aren't they??

Maybe I'll message you in a month or two, and we can get some people to head up there.

I'd be down for a drive if you guys set something up.

The monthly eurotopia drives usually go through Malibu and are pretty fun. Mixture of cars, but a nice representation of e9x M3s
