But once I put the seats back up and shut off the trunk from the cabin, the noise went down dramatically. But when you put the windows down, it SCREAAAAMS. Drone is actually a little less than it was with just the axle-back, so that's a plus also. However if you are allergic to drone you shouldn't be rocking and Eisenmann race anyway.

I was considering the usual suspects. In order of interest:
--R8
--996 Turbo
--991 GT3
--GTR

Thanks for the other comments too! I'm more into landscape photography but I do o-k with cars.
I can't wait now. Exhaust gets here Wednesday, hoping to have it int he shop by Friday or Saturday. I'm not that scared of drone, as long as it's reasonable. I had full ACM exhaust at one point and that was ridiculous (so raspy). I heard ER by itself and I didn't find it that insanely loud. As long as it's not insanely loud on the inside, I'm cool with it. This car is not my DD.

Let me put it this way, I sure hope the exhaust isn't as loud as let's say a Meistershaft GT2 with TP. That is a little too out of control for me.

John that's awesome. have you considered upgrading to the vt2-625? if you haven't already bought software for the vt2-600 it might be worth it. you just need a new pulley and belt. your injectors should be good to go.

also, we need some pics man. you can't start a thread about a new supercharger in the media gallery and then not post any pics !! c'mon! lets see it !

Hahah no doubt, it looks like all the others though! No fancy paintjob or anything, so I guess I didn't see the point.

I've had the SC on for about 2 months now, so yeah I already had the software. I'm thinking about a straight jump to 650 and just being done. Do I need pulleys AND injectors for the 650?

All VT2 kit changes require new software, belt / pulley and sometimes injectors. The 650 requires a new crank pulley and we also suggest replacing rod bearings to help the motor handle the increase in power over time with the 650.

John, is your car DCT or manual. my understanding is that vt2-625 is the highest kit "recommended" for dct cars. something to think about

With our DCT performance software now available via remote tuning and OEM DCT software improvements running a VT2-650 with DCT cars is not an issue. We do still suggest using our DCT software for best performance on the VT2-650.

Speaking of which, did you ever get a chance to test the reverse lag with the ESS DCT software? That thread tapered off into obscurity.

Sorry for the OT, John.

Thanks man! They OSS go way back, V2 I think (I don't really know I got them 2.5 years ago). Still running stronger than ever, LOL LEDs will outlast the car.
