Is it accurate? I think it uses a mechanical sender that you tap into the boost line if I remember correctly. I hope its accurate. Because mine is reading some funny ass numbers not even connected..lol.

My clutch works perfectly fine, but WHEN it goes, I will look into the one you mentioned!

If your car has only 18k no need to do the bearings yet

sorry if this is offtopic but i have a couple of questions for supercharger owners that are reading this thread:

1) has anybody messed/changed/with the blow off valve springs for more boost on the lower rpm ranges? in some of the vids it almost sounds like the blow off valves are releasing boos in the lower rpm bandwith and then closing as rpms get close to redline

2)how about different pulley sizes to retain the underdrive pulley yet maintaining the optimum psi that the car is tuned for. love my underdrive pulley and would like to keep it when supercharging (but obviuosly it reduces the psi the supercharger pulley is made for). Has ESS, AA, VF tried or offered something like this? I have tried searching through threads on both topics and not come across anything on a few forums.

We need a forced induction section for the forum.

1) no idea, I will be upgrading my bovs that came with my evolve kit to one single Tial BOV. I believe they only make a handful of springs for supercharger application (compared to a turbo BOV)

2) The Evolve unit is different then the other units as it upgrades all pulleys to 8rib . I would have to double check, but I believe the sizing of the new crank pulley is a few mm smaller than the stock unit.

1.) I thought the same thing. Why do they sound like they fluttering air out at low rpm lift.

I doubt the BOV on the kits is limiting boost. Let off suddenly from high boost and it should bang. Let off gradually in daily driving in boost and it may flutter.

Most or all of these blower kits drive the blower off the accessory drive. My guess is that an underdrive crank pulley is not recommended because with more power you have more thermal load on the motor and do not want to underdrive the water pump. You could go to underdrive pulleys for other accessories if there is room for larger pulleys and can find individual underdrive pulleys. This might require an odd size belt, but perhaps you could find one that fits.

If Evolve is doing what is described above, that would be doing it right. The Evolve kit has first class hardware.
