reasonable 2009 M3 E93 price

Good afternoon.
new to Forum. i am looking into buy 2009 M3 E93 with tech, weather, premium sounds, 19", etc pretty much all the options except small things. MSRP came out to be $82,570. got a quote for $78,100. i searched the forum about M3 E93 price w/ these options. by reading the whoesale price post, the invoice should be somewhere ~$70,000. what price should i ask for? i just want to get M3 conv. i also read 2008 M3 thread. any suggestions or comments? Thank you in advance helping me. i want to be a member of M3 family.

I believe you can buy one at invoice these days.
Or another option (if you like to save some money), you can still pick up brand new 08 Convertibles for around 15,000 under MSRP. Most of 08 sedans/coupes are gone but I do see a lot of brand new 08 E93 M3 convertibles out there.

You may want to contact David at https://www.bmwsonline.com/

You can configure the car exactly as you want, and he'll sell it to you at invoice.

My E90 just came in and will be delivered to me in a few days. It's been a completely hassle free transaction and the best price I could find. I highly recommend doing business with David.

As a point of reference I bought a new 08 6MT E93 on March 15, 2009 for $61,500. It did have 110 miles, but had never been titled, it had all options except for extended leather, and it was at the original ordering dealer. The car was/is flawless 4K miles later.

Granted it may be very difficult to find a new 08 now, as there were only a few left in March.

Congrats on the killer deal. Which dealer? I have seen some crazy deals in the DC area, one dealer offered me $29,000 off an 07' M6 convert, and that was back in November/December.

However, none of this does the OP any good, since the 08s were loaded with multiple incentives (I believe it was the 3000, and now $7500 dealer incentives), that aren't available on the 09s right now. Also, not having DCT is the single most expensive option available.

He's there, just up to his eyeballs in work. Got a nice, detailed response from him today, along with an apology for not responding sooner.

It was BMW of Annapolis. And yes, the DCT at full price of that option would have taken it to $64.2K, but that too would have likely been discounted. I was non-negotiable on insisting upon 6MT, however, because I'm a die-hard, and I would have wanted an even bigger discount to have to "settle" for an automatic (DCT).

You're right, I think the phenomenal '08 deals were in March/April 09 at the peak of economic doom and gloom, and they're probably all gone now.

Today, there was an '08 Melbourne Red M3 convertible with 19" wheels, premium and tech packages, pretty well optioned at Niello BMW in Elk Grove, CA. It was marked down $13,000. Unfortunately for you, (and fortunately for her) a woman bought it
