I dont think you can... you fill the tranny fluid and wait for it to over flow and thats when you know its full, not sure how much qtz but i think thats the concept.
well thats what i do to my old S2000, hope its the same with our M3

First,why do you want to check your tranny oil ?
do you have a leak ? the only way you can check the DCT tranny oil is by opening the filling plug and check it with your finger. Second,dont use any thing other than oem DCT tranny unless you want to damage your tranny. |

Sorry, I am driving now.
Yes I have a slight leak through the Oring attached to the upper hose connected to the heat exchanger. Will post a clarification diagram when I get back home |
