Spoiler Alert: Top Gear M3 vs RS5

Loving the fact that original M3 is the best and even smashes the RS5!!!! God I love my car.

Cheers.

He lives in the UK, he saw it live... but the angry mob will make sure this is the last Top Gear he sees. :P

Does it even matter at this point? Audi started making noise about the RS5 such a long time ago and til today, I haven not seen a single one and have no idea when they will come out... Maybe another year? With 2 more years left for the M3, I don't think it really makes a difference.

They are out in the UK and I've seen a few (not a lot) although to be honest I don't see that many e90 M3's either on the roads. They look pretty meaty but not that diff to a S5 in my opinion. The exhausts are only visual, they don't actually even need the pipes....

It didn't even cross my mind to switch. Although saying that...my next car (aim is 2012) is either an R8 V10 or Aston Martin DBS. Black of course :-)

Atrocious understeer on the RS5. urrgh.

Sounds like a boggo M3, aftermarket wheels and a vinyl wrap is what you want if you want an M3, some nice wheels and an unusual clour.

To the OP - nope I dont see many (I think ive seen 5-6 on the road since I got it in 08) E9X series M3s about either. Perils of releasing a V8 just as fuel goes mad and the country goes down the pan eh. Suits me, mine's a keeper and I prefer the rarity factor.

Yeah mine is 08 and I just love it. Don't think I've had a bad drive yet and it's a pleasure each and every time whether 2 min spin to the shops, spirited country drive or long distance cruise 10/10. I won't sell it esp if they move to turbos - it's a keeper.

Pretty good episode.

Hope this shuts up the ZCP owners a little.
