Seriously, someone offered you "$33k CASH" and they honestly thought they were doing you a favor? I'd be embarrassed to make an offer that low after looking at prices on KBB, considering your current price is well below "good" condition.

Well, I hope things work out with this one buyer before your '12 finally arrives. I know I'm sick of waiting for our cars to get released.
i love some of the terms they use
as if that is supposed to tempt me
"cash in hand"

forget KBB
this car is one of the lowest priced E92s for sale ANYWHERE
i checked cars.com. autotrader, and ebay
all the ones that are priced lower have over 50K miles so no warranty
or are sedans.

right now there is an issue with 08 M3 pricing
most sellers think their cars are worth mid to late 40's
most buyers think they can get the steal of a lifetime and buy an M3 for early to mid 30s
i think the real value is somewhere in the middle
hence my $40K asking price

I know your car is priced low and that's why I'm surprised people are still offering you absurd prices, and like you said it still even has its factory warranty

Yes, it certainly does sound like you've been dealing with a bunch of bottom feeders.

So does that mean you'll keep your '08 after you take delivery of your '12 instead of trading it in?

I might
The used cars manager was so full of himself
He told me you won't be able to sell your car, and you'll come back and accept my offer later
So I'd REALLY like to sell it privately
And tell him guess what buddy
Nor only did I sell the car
I got more than you offered as well

My loan already went through with my current loan on my 08
So it's not a necessity to sell prior to picking up the 2012
I'd have 828hp and 600lb/ft of torque

Yeah, most used car managers at dealerships are full of themselves and just as slimy as what you'll find at a typical used car dealership.

Glad to hear you don't need to get rid of the '08 before taking delivery of the '12. I'm trying to picture how you're going to pull off driving both cars simultaneously?!?!

Just got off of the phone with my CA - my '12 is still not released for delivery

You/we sure pissed off Ateam with our responses to his EPA comments

Easy
Red one on Tuesday's and Thursday's
Blue one on Monday's Wednesday's and Fridays

We sure did
I'm not American so I don't play the whole democrat/republican game
But I cant stand the amount of ignorance I see from some republicans
"All government is bad and we should trust private enterprise to regulate itself"
Yeah right, who is the dumbass CEO who would choose the quality of our air, vs decreasing his costs and making his bonus cheque even fatter?
I've seen most of the debates, and the republican candidates are all totally unimpressive.
And I don't thnk Obama has the expertise to lead the country through this tough time. I think he's a nice guy, and he meant well, but he totally under estimated how you play the game in DC due to lack of experience.

So this presents us with a dilemma

I wish it was only two - try 11!

Yeah, that's just what we need, private enterprise regulating itself. I can't imagine how bad things would be right now if things were being managed that way before this last economic melt down?

Yes, Obama is an excellent talker (used car salesman?) but wasn't prepared to tackle ALL of the major issues. Actually, I don't think anyone could have dealt with them but I think he screwed up a lot of things, especially healthcare!

to an outsider
i still find it hard to believe that the richest country in the world has people who can't afford to get treatment when they get sick.
i used to live in Sweden, and healthcare was provided to all, not just the wealthy.
and yet the government can justify spending tens, if not hundreds, of billions in bombing other nations.
that's like leaving you son hungry, while spending money on someone else's kid.
if i were an american, i'd say screw the iraqis and afghanis, i'll spend my money ony own people.

but maybe thats just me...

and in Obama's defense, he really doesn't have the power do as he pleases
with a divded house, its like tying your hands behind your back and putting you in a boxing ring

Sorry - thought you were making a statement about needing to take certain medication, on certain days! I only have four cars.

I agree, Obama's hands are tied but I still disagree with how he handled certain things. Yes, I do agree with you that as a country we need to do a much better job of taking care of our own people first.

Obama made promises nobody could ever keep.

I agree with you on that, we spend so much money helping other countries "rebuild" that it is rediculus. Take care of your own damn debts before worrying about others. Its total BS and the government needs a major reform and we the people need to stop taking it and start making demands that things change. Once again in a week we are about to have another financial crisis because they wont be able to agree on a budget again. Most of the people we elect in to office are looking out for them self only because they know that no one is going to stop them. It gets me all fired up. I lost my leg serving this country and a lot of friends. The least these dick heads can do is figure out how to spend OUR tax money, and try spending it on our education system instead of bonuses and lifetime pensions. .... ok im done rambling and ranting I have a lot more to say but it is what it is, Maybe I will start another revolt soon.

agreed
all i can say is be prepared to hear some more promised from Obama or the rebublican nominee (if they can keep their d@#$ in their pants and remember what the 3rd thing is)
that will not be fulfilled
the only solution is to cut spending and raise taxes
but no candidate wants to say that, or else he wont get elected
its like going to the doctor, but he doesn't want to give you a shot or you won't pay him
