Any enlisted military folks out there with M3's?

Hey everyone

I'm new to this forum but i'm currently stationed in Germany!

I wanted to know if any of you are enlisted and purchased a new M3 (Preferably an E93).

I'm asking this because I am considering purchasing a 2011 M3 Coupe but I wanted to know how to come about these military discounts.

If you have ordered one, how much did you get it for?

Navy E6 here. I just got my E92 M3 last week. I am in the states so I couldn't do the military program but I hear it is really good and you get a really good price!

going through pentagon car sales... you are getting a big enough discount. The only way to get a little bit more off is if you buy a DEMO M3. Even then, it's only a couple thousand. Good luck in your search. Save up, and you can get one!

Halfam, R U at Ramstein? If so, go see Terry at Pentagon and tell him Bob Austin sent you. You will get a free cup of coffee and the best service/deal available. I'm enlisted Active Duty AF and bought my wife's 08 128i and my 09 M3 from Pentagon. Good hunting!

Im Air Force at Wiesbaden. Pentagon is the way to go. A demo is cheaper by a few thousand and you don't have to pay for the 1200 mile service (700 Euro)

Thumbs up I am enlisted

I ordered my 2008 M3 when I was stationed in Germany and Pentagon Car Sales is the way to go in Germany. The reason you get the car for less is because you fall under the Status Of Forces Agreement (SOFA) I saved Thousands on my M3.

check out http://www.superiormotorsmsp.com/
They will send you all the price lists and a spreadsheet to build the car to your specs. I think all the Military pricing is the same whether it's Superior or Pentagon, etc and you the savings are good, overall a great experience.

Yeah i'm at Ramstein. I know a few of my hometown buddies that are stationed in Korea and Italy. Would they go through the same program? Sorry for all the questions!

And thank you so much everyone! You all just made me one happy camper. ///M all day.

So Superiormotors and Pentagon Car Sales are about the same?

and another thing is that if I buy it through one of these programs, I won't be able to receive the car until I come back stateside?

I don't know about Superiormotors, but I took delivery of my M3 here in Germany through Pentagon. They will also pay to ship it back stateside for you when you PCS.

Ordered two, received two and then they shipped one Baltimore and one to Dallas when I left Germany. Most say this is 'Free Shipping' but it is built into the purchase price of a US Spec BMW.

Halfam...
Its as simple as this, you buy from pentagon and only them. Two, you buy one they ship it back. Three, best deal ever...and four, never listen to your "buddies" find the facts. If its one thing I have learned while being in the military is that I never listen to my buddy about shit he doesn't know.

Ahhh yes I do to a point. You have to have orders or proof you are stationed or TDY in that country or any oversea's country that has a Military Satus of Forces Agreemant and there is a reason you are not paying taxes on the car when you purchase it oversea's before you bring it back to the states ahhhh (SOFA). Ohhh and why do you think Military people deployed can order a M3 at a lower cost through Pentagon military car sales its because they are on orders for that country and fall under the (SOFA in Iraq). I saved thousands of dollars on my M3 fully loaded. I have every option but DCT because I wanted 6MT. I paid $64,100.00 and this was in 2008 when the new E92 M3 first came out. Stateside pricess were $70,000.00+ fully loaded to include the gas guzzler tax which I did not have to pay and some of the Stealerships had mark ups on the M3 $10,000.00 to $25,000.00 I ordered my M3 before I left Germany while I still fell under the Status of Forces Agreement in Germany. I ordered the M3 in May 2007. I left Germany in July 2007 my M3 did not get built until June 2008. It would have been foolish to wait until I got back to the states and actually order a M3 from one of the very few Stealership that had a mark up on the M3 $70,000.00+ $10,000-$25,000 mark up come on guy REALLY. My M3 was built put on a ship and sent to me at what ever port, I wanted to pick it up at. It never sat on a Stealership lot, when I picked my M3 up it only had 2 miles on it. You can feel free to be in the Military take a vacation oversea's to Germany for example and try to buy a car from Pentagon and they are going to look at you like you are crazy because you don't fall under the SOFA because you are not stationed there or TDY. Now that I am done proving my point, just do a google search On Status of Forces Agreement and you will see I am right

Is someone doubting the idea and fact of paying a lot less with the Military Sales Program Shady1? My e92 is DCT/EDC/Ipod, retails 64,000, with my demo discount and 3000 down I paid 47,880.
