Here is a quick shoot we did the other day comparing a car with a Full replacement ring system with the LUX H8 160 angel eyes. On the Left is a headlight setup that will cost upwards of $700 and requires sending your headlights out most of the time. On the Right is the LUX H8 160 is is under $199 and takes about 10 minutes

I just ordered a pair of the H8 160s. Any helpful hint for installing these? I've attempt to install a pair previously. It takes me about 10 minutes to get the bulb in the socket and then for the life of me I can not get a good grip on it to twist it securely in place.

When you install it, hold the LED end facing upwards and lower the fin side into the headlight. Once the LED's are in line with the opening, gently pull on the wire to help guide it into the opening. Be sure not to hit the LED's as well when putting it in place. From there align the 3 tabs and its less then a 1/4 turn to hold it snug in place

I installed the Lux H8 160 LED Angel Eyes yesterday.

These were to replace a failing Lux H8 V3 that were already in my E90 when I bought it.

Easy 20 minute DIY install. As others have mentioned, it's just hard to get your hands into the space to do the swap.

How big of a difference over the V4 is this? Worth it to upgrade mine?

the LUX H8 V4 are rated at 850 lumen while these are rated at 1600 lumen, so 2x the light output. There is a pretty significant difference between them
