yeah, seriously, OP, get the car you want, then you can post pics and show it off to us at that time. It'll be a more productive discussion thread at that time. |

2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe for the track. This will be the most dependable of the lot. The GTR is nice but way too heavy for the track and if stuff breaks, you will not get any love from Nissan. Porsche expects you to track the car and will not be petty if you have an issue and need warranty repairs. BMW is great but it also takes its share of abuse on the track and the folks in service don't like to hear about your track days.

Don't like the R8s. Just my opinion. Driven a few of them and just don't like the design.

I've had tons of issues with my Aston Martin. Love the guys at the dealership here but not sure another Aston Martin is at the top.
I left off the Ferrari California also from my list. That's a very fast car and in the right color with the right rims really looks like a guy's car.

That is quite easy for me ... you already have one good car an all year DD al you need now is the e92 and you be all set. You will love the e92 2013 once you get it ... do hurry the window is closing for ordering and allocations.
Good luck and safe travels

Thanks everyone for your input. Again, I change cars often and am just looking for opinions really on how competitive on the track an m3 will be in comparison to cars like the SLS, GT3, California, etc. Not trying to brag. Just looking for honest feedback. Maybe i'm just looking for a few fine folks here to convince me to get the m3 or m4 over the others.
That said, the GT3 is nice. I think i've ruled out the GTR and x6 M. My list in order: 1. m3/m4 2. Porsche GT3 3. SLS AMG 4. Aston Martin v12

None of the cars you enumerate are competition cars. If you're just screwing around at track days, you shouldn't be competing and are screwing things up for those around you who are trying to learn something.
