how much should I pay for this 2011 M3

I got a deal on this new 2011 m3 (14 miles on it)

It is a manual with:
#Convenience PkG
#Cold weather Package
#Premium Pkg 2
#19" light ally double spoke wheels
It still offers 4 years warranty and maintenance.

It dropped from 69000 sticker to 63000.

Is the price reasonable ? could it go lower??
Thanks

KBB suggested retail on a sedan $61K, coupe $64K ...for that kind of money why not get a '12 or even a '13 and have more time under warranty?

The dealer said it has the same warranty time as a new car. It is a coupe, so does it sound like a good deal?

The factory warranty is good for 4 yrs from the production month and year..so if this was built in Jan 2011, the warranty is good until Jan 2015..

Contrarily a 2012 or 2013, will have warranties good until 2016, 2017, respectively.

You may pay slighly more but you will have more warranty time and it is also good if you choose to sell the car later on.

Has your dealer told you otherwise? perhaps they are picking up the difference in time?

I believe that is the case, He first told me I would lose some warranty time on the 2011 model, but later he corrected and told me I would have the same amount of warranty time as I would get on the 2012 model. With this in mind, how good is this deal?

The warranty is four years from the in-service date, not the production date. If the car has 14 miles and has never been registered then it will still have 4 full years of warranty if purchased by the OP...

Hmm not much of a deal..I mean they are asking retail.. ..also the 4 yr warranty is from the factory that covers pretty much everything except road hazzard damage or as a consequence of modding..I would suggest you get all of what the dealer said spelled out in writing

Also did you ask why it has only 14 miles?..make sure the car is clean title...no accidents, flood damage etc..since you are in Florida.

I would get a '12 or '13..newer is going to hold value better.

Agreed, still a pretty full price for left over inventory. Press for further reductions...

And don't think OP said this but I assume this is a dealer, not a private seller, hence the 14 miles and a full warranty left...

Oh yes thats correct in service date is what they go by...so it does probably still have the balance of factory warranty...still such low mileage makes you ask why

At 14 miles I would assume it has been test driven a bit or driven a bit by someone at the dealership, but never sold or registered. But the OP should confirm that! Hate to find out someone bought it then returned it, starting the clock on the warranty...

the car has never been sold or registered, so It should have a clean history. I am getting it from a dealer. hmm... you guys have any idea how much lower it could go. I asked for 60000, the dealer said he will think about it and I left my number, It has been a week, he never called.

When was the car built? I would want Sept 2010 production or later which came with the combox, giving some additional functionality in terms of entertainment functions. When yo say Premium Pkg 2 that makes me think it is a pre-Sept '10 build...

See this earlier thread about the changes from Sept '10 onward.
