LOL!!!!! Wow. You seem pretty upset by this. Good!!!!!

Granted it was mean ... but asshat deserve it. Even when I park my pride and joy in overfilled parking spaces, I do not double park (even though I want to). I mean yes I udnerstand you do not want scratches and dings .. but does that entitle you to two spaces?

Of course it is LOL!!!! Towards the end of the Ford Pinto production, they tried to boost sales with a "M" model. I think it was in production for 2 years. It had a nice LSD and was scary fast but the ride sucked. There aren't many around. Check eBay Motors.

I double park in the garage when one of the cars is in for service.

Feels great - and no dings!

Umm, That Is Not Called Double Parking, Its Called Taking Up 2 Parking Spaces. And Fyi, I Use To Live In Queens Ny, Parking Is Near Impossible When I Come Home Around 3 Am At Night. If I Catch Anybody Taking Up Unnecessary Spaces, I Would Usually Slash Their Tire.

I'm sorry, but double parking is a no-no in my book. In my opinion if you double park, you are asking and deserve to get your car damaged. At school this happend to me, someone double parked on a curve, which blocked the exit path for vehicles to reverse and leave, so it was towed 20 mins later.

I have been double parking my truck consistantly for 2 years now. Not one issue for me. This is probably because it's just a Toyota.

I am not stupid either and I only double park far away and in nice areas. I don't double park in areas where there are lots of people. In fact, I don't even take my truck to places like that.

I can put money down that if I was doing this with a nice ass BMW, someone would have fucked with it already. It's a known fact that people want what they can't have. If they can't have it they hate HARD.

I agree on everything up to the slashing of the tire. I have them ticketed and towed. I also live in Queens. Double Parking here means parking on the road next to another car and congesting the street. Taking up 2 spaces is another thing. There is just not enough space in the city for people to do that.

Talking QUAD parking!

Almost every day I drive by a Home Depot (The Frazer/Malvern Home Depot for those of you that may live around there) and EVERY DAY there is a spectable to behold. A group of their employees QUAD PARK (diagonally, across FOUR SPACES) their cars all around the lot. I am not exagerating when I say that at all times, even on Saturdays at 10 am, there is at least 60% of the lot empty, yet they still do this. The cars I see doing it are an ugly painted PT Crapper, some beat up old Mazda 2 door something, and some VW Passat I think, amongst others. It's hilarious to see, and annoying at the same time. I enjoy parking parallel to them, as if they were in a normal spot and I pulled up to normally park next to them!
I honestly thought that maybe the HD store somehow got paid by corporate for however many spots were full (some indication of customer inflow count or something) but I really think they are just really odd folks.

Same at HD here in TN. The employees park far away from the entrance, taking up a few spaces each, same types of 'low-end' cars.

But how would it affect you? They try to avoid dings, too. They take good care of their cars. Why would that bother you - they park in the furthest spots.

I've always tried to keep my cars ding free, for as long as possible. Even my old POS cars. Why not?

Although I most likely would not do this, I do not think that taking up 2 parking spaces far away is wrong. However, it may attract someones attention to do something to your car. In reality, if you are not stealing needed spots for others I do not see why anyone would do harm to your car.
