AA Pulley or EVO Pulley

Hi Can somebody give some insight on this topic?

I am just very curious there is such a big price difference so I would like in detail why?

I mean how big of a difference can a pulley have??

They are both solid products, we carry both for a reason and IMO you cannot go wrong either way.

The Evosport pully is made of pure magic and thus produces 2.5x the power of any other brand...

AA or Rogue is the way to go. Evosport = a bunch of jack asses that feed you misinformation (just my opinion).

If you have a DCT then get a Rogue. That's what I'm planning on doing.

Rogue Pulley. Since you're overseas - you can easily replace the belt when needed which can be sourced from any local auto parts supply.

Did you miss my thread? This is only true of the earlier pulleys.

I've dealt with AA for some time now and they have gained my trust. I have their pulleys installed on my car and I am very pleased with them. Give them call. Ask for Omar.

It seems most are using the same 15% reduction, we've measured as well. However we've been a big fan of Rogue Engineering products from the start.

Just tried installing the AA pulley. July 08 build. 6 sp manual. The double wall belt DOES NOT FIT. The dam belt is too short and after about 30 tries with two of us, one who used to install V-belts on the assembly line, the tensioner pulley 14mm bold is nearly round. Lucky it had enough to put the original back on. Funny, that one fits just fine. Big pain in the ass. Not liking AA right now.

Is your original belt double-sided?

This is easily my best mod! AA Tune and AA Pulley along with SSK make my car a totally different beast.

I wish the App that runs on iPhones that measures your cars 0-60 was available for a Blackberry Storm.

Seriously, the AA Pulley is AWESOME!

This happened with me too. The problem is that the Double Walled Belt is only for Production cars made in/after September/October of 2008.

I got my car in February of this year (O8 Model)so I logically assumed the car was issued late 08. I was wrong. My car was sent from Germany in March but wasn't even sold in the US until September/October.

Omar was great and Fed-Exed the replacement/correct belt the next day.
Once you get it on, you won't be let down. Awesome product!

Have you contacted AA? Some cars need a new belt depending on your build date so they can send a new one out to you.
